Re: Young Eclectus squawking

Thanks everyone! NICKI I might have to take you up on that offer.

I've started with hand feeds of an evening. I've tried morning feeds and he's more interested in his normal food.

He's fine when I leave for work but when I come home Its non stop noise. I'll give him a hand feed and he loves it, however, it doesn't help the noise.
he will sit on my shoulder and squawk in my ear....... That really hurts.
It seems nothing I do helps the situation.

When it's our time, once he settles down he always makes inside noises like "awwwww" but it's pretty constant to. I'm not sure if it's because he's vocal or trying to communicate with me?

I've done 4 hand feeds so far and it seems he's put on 35-40G? This seems a little excessive for such a short amount of time?

Its getting too me as I feel I'm doing something wrong. Like hes asking for something/ yelling something to me but I'm not providing it
