I got the x-small, should be the perfect size for Sidney. She was flying around for a minute with it on today. Great harness for flying!!!

What beautiful pics. Its so nice to see birds outside enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

They really are a great harness for walking about or flying, no need to alter or change them brilliant.

I have now looked at this thread a few times now.
First look had me scorning how cruel that is to a bird,
my 2nd look had me thinking how ridiculous that idea was.
My third look involved me wondering if skippah would ever let me put a thing like that on him.
My fourth look had me sizing up posicle to figure out what size I should get for skippah.
My fith look inolved me fantizing about Skippah going apesh*t with joy every time he saw it coz it meant he was going outside or for a drive somewhere. then I become known as that crazy ole stoned guy up the road with bird shit all over his shoulder, walking the streets as the bird screams at people going by.

So now I need to know what its called?
What size I need for Skippah?
How much will it cost?
Can he hurt himself with it on?
Do all birds take to them?
Where can I get one in Oz.
Will you buy it for me coz Im cheapskate?

The harness is called the Aviator, you can get it from here

http://www.theparrotuniversity.com/aviator.php

I believe I got the medium for Bucc, thats for birds 425-600 g, the small is for birds about 190-425 g
It is $34.99 USD, thats about 42.39 AUD once the birds get used to them, yes they usually love them, and once Skippah knows its for going outside he'll love it. And NO I won't buy it for you. I'm also a cheepskate. :D

Hey what?
I asked if they take to it well,... Didint I?

Also, I think I stuffed up by going too fast. I ordered a medium and now I notice that it says a small will fit Major Mitchells. I think I need to go for a small, not a medium. Also as well, I ordered silver coz its closest to white, so it wouldnt show when he is wearing it. Now I wonder if a brighter colour would be a better idea so it shows up if he wanders off?
Bugga bugga bugga,.... why did u force me into rushing into this??

Yes, but you didn't ask how many fingers you would lose in the process of getting him used to it. :D:D

I just Rung Patsy at the Hartman Aviary and changed my size over the phone. I ordered the small but kept the colour the same so as not to confuse the poor American.
Saved by quick Aussie thinking

Sisqo has a green one that is in a size Medium I believe. I think it's a hair to large for him, but that's just my overprotective side coming out.

Speaking of Hartman Aviary...I will be thinking of you all on Saturday:D

BLOODY HELL!!!
I just looked at the instructions!
There is no way Skippah is going to sit still for this!
Whose stoopid idea was this?
He is going to kill me when I try and get him into that bloody straight jacket!!!

Tell them I want a sweetner in my postage to make the whole deal worth while.
I want a free flightline and some hats and tee shirts thrown in,
Sort that out for me will ya?
Ta.
