Yes our fellow member Laurasea has had some unfortunate mishaps with her green cheek conure actually nipping several toes clean off one of her budgies so you will definitely need to supervise! I have no doubt some budgies and conures are perfectly safe but budgies can be like that pesky little brother who doesn’t know when to quit and if the conure loses it’s temper the results can be very serious indeed.

Other than that - welcome aboard! It’s good that you care about your feather babies and are asking these sorts of questions
