- 1 pet CAG--1 pet TAG--1 pet YC Macaw--2 pet Quakers--3 prs of breeder greys--not pets
Smokey ( CAG ) is 7 yrs old and comes from one of my breeder pairs. He's very friendly and is very spoiled and knows he's #1 in the house and he never lets us forget it.
Tee is 12 yrs old. I've had him for about 3 1/2 yrs. He came from an odd situation. He was owned by people who were very afraid of him because he was a serious biter. They had very little physical contact with him hence the constant biting when they came near him. He went after the hubby, wife and eventually their 9 mt old baby. One night I received a phone call and I was asked to take him. It took about a year of working and training him until he stopped his bad biting habits. I and my wife took many bites during that training year and he also went after Smokey constantly and with evil intentions. Finally, Smokey gave him a few nasty bites and they straightened out everything. Eventually, things turned out well. Today he's a very friendly, loving TAG and he and Smokey are good friends. They hang out and constantly have make believe mock fights. When I got my YC macaw, both of them teamed up and gave her a very rough welcome into the house that lasted for about a month. They're all friends now although Tee is always at the ready to give her a hard time. Now a days, he's all talk and no action. but the look in his face tells it all-------Dave
