My baby senegal parrot needs a new home

I have a senegal parrot that is about 8 months old. He's cute, pretty quiet, not too messy and knows how to kiss (I taught him that)
I'm finding it difficult to give him much attention with my 3 little kids around and I am expecting my fourth in less than a month. I feel so sorry for him as he isn't getting much love. So I am looking for a warm, loving home for him. His name is Socrates. I can send pictures if you'd like. I hate to post this on Craigslist, as you never know what kind of crazy person may want him. :greenyellow:

There is a Long Island Parrot Society [or club] - you might want to reach out to them to see if a serious parrot-lover is available. Or contact local avian vets. They often will refer to a client with room in their house/heart.

Good luck to you and Socrates. Keep in mind that lots of regular members here look at and have gotten birds off Craigslist. All you have to do is screen the person very carefully regardless of where you meet them. That being said, also bear in mind that not everyone on a forum is a good candidate either. Every now and then we have people signing up for the sole purpose of seeing if anyone is giving away a bird free or cheap.
