BC Parrot Rescue

Hi,

I am new here. There is a large parrot refuge on Vancouver Island that is in struggles and are being forced to adopt out parrots.

Once loved, forgotten parrots face uncertain future - British Columbia - CBC News

If anyone here can do anything for the parrots. They would appreciate it.

The sad reality is that fully across North America, there are hundreds of Parrot Rescues, Rehomers, etc... that are near or past the point of failure. Owners that have exceeding they funding and/or as a result of age or illness can no longer support their work.

As with this one, they are too large to simply move several parrots to friends and family. The numbers are just beyond that level. Sadly, only Government or National level organizations have the funding and support systems in place to undertake a Rescue of this size.
