My girl Rex is bonded with my boy Jet. I am strongly considering rehoming her if some conditions are met.

First you must be a current forum member and live in Texas. I am willing to bring her to you.

You must also be willing to wait up to 30 days and accept that she might not be rehomed. But please dont change your mind about wanting her.

I have a local family that will take care of her for up to a month. The point of waiting is because I am attempting to seperate a bonded pair which is not normally considered a humane option. If at any point during the initial seperation either or both of yhem do not handle it well they will have to be reunited. If the sepetation goes well it would be cruel to bring her back to my home before rehoming her and it likely wouldnt work.

I am willing to give her to the right home. I could just post her on craigslist but I trust our forum for attempting to find her a new home. I feel bad about thinking about doing this but also feel that if it works it will be better for her.

I just want to wish you and the birds good, good luck.
If you'd like to share any more about the reasons for re-homing, or the emotions that you must surely be feeling, I know that I for one would love to listen and support you. :)
