Sorry this is looking a bit like a flipping vehicle IMO?? A new member with the name above does nothing to alleviate this feeling. As a new member it will not be possible to PM directly until 20 posts have been achieved. A Moderator will be able to forward for you. It would be reassuring to see some more text about yourself, any birds currently owned and the type of home you can offer.

Apologies for it sounding this way. After lots of carefull consideration I have decided that I want to offer a home to a parrot in need rather than just go out and buy one. I have kept birds for many years and now feel ready and experienced enough to offer a home

Ok thanks for the reply, that is great. Have you put yourself up in the new members section of our forum? Tell us the history of your bird keeping, what birds, their names etc. Commendable re offering a home to a parrot in need. We all agree with this.

Thanks for your reply too I am going to work on my profile and add a bit about myself in the new members area later on today. I felt that I needed to gain knowledge before taking on a parrot as I want to be sure I can give the best home possible. I have always wanted to own and Care for one since being a little girl. Also I have waited for my children to be older too. I will add more info though I understand I'm new on here.

Great will look out for your input. Sometimes it is about commitment rather than knowledge, if you have the commitment then the knowledge can and does follow. You appear to want to learn, which is fab. Welcome to the forums.
