Two Cockatiels: Rascal (Geraldine) and his baby brother named Coconut!
I have two tiels and need to rehome an Indian Ringneck which is being kept at my neighbor's house. This Indian Ringeck was rescued when we found him outside in a tree. I don't want to go over the details here as there are lots of threads about this topic already about this IRN's story on this forum but it is clear this Indian Ringneck desperately needs a safe, happy and RESPONSIBLE owner who can shower him with LOTS of attention. He is a very sweet bird. He says "peekaboo" and "what ya doing" and gives kisses... but he really does need lots of attention or he gets sad. He is a laid back bird and easy to handle.

I CANNOT keep him as at this time in my life my hands are full handling my two tiels (I can't handle 3 birds right now as I can't have more distractions right now as I'm very much needing to focus on growing my business and fixing my financial mess!) and I also feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable bringing an IRN into my home since I have tiels. I know many people keep various species in a home but I'm not comfortable with that. My tiels are also NEVER in their cage (Unless I have to leave the house) and I don't want to end up having to keep my tiels locked in a cage just to have the IRN outside of the cage.

My #1 priority is ensuring this IRN gets a HAPPY forever home and is showered with lots of interaction.

Does anyone here know any EXPERIENCED bird owners who might be willing to adopt this sweet bird? He's a beautiful male blue IRN and is very lovable.

I am in south Florida...

Thanks.

Hello!

I would love nothing more than to give the ringneck a forever home! I have spent many years working with birds and I am also a manager at a pet store who works directly with feeding and maintaining our little feathery babies. I'm not sure how this forum works or anything so if there is a PM function go ahead and shoot me a message if you want to ask me anything! Thank you! Attached are my two babies who sleep beside me.

Unfortunately I don't think you can PM until you have a certain number of posts. Where are you located? Thanks

if there's a way to get her/him to Cheyenne I'd love to take an IRN in.

Hello! I’m in South Florida as well and I’ve been looking for an IRN needing a home for ages.

If the adopter above didn’t work out for whatever reason I would love to take him in. I’ve had birds my entire life and I own (or rather, am owned by) a severe macaw, a cockatiel, and a love bird.
