Good evening

I need to find a home for my two conures. I have a female Crimson Bellie and a male Green cheek. They are bonded so I am looking to keep them together. The reason why we need to get rid of them is we recently rescued a Pug and I am afraid one of the birds will go after the dog. I am in a one bedroom condo and there just isn't enough room. Cage included and feel free to ask any questions.

Id honestly give them a chance with the dog. You can always supervise the situation. They might even all become friends you never know. Lots of people have dogs with Parrots x

If you just got the dog why would you rehome the birds and not the new dog?

Rio (Yellow sided conure) sadly no longer with us
Apologies but I do have to mimic sunny's thoughts.

Why are the birds getting rehomed when they were there first? Is this possibly a case where the birds are now boring and the dog is new and exciting? Or is there something going on you're reluctant to tell people.

It's extremely unfair on the birds to get shoved out because something new entered into their home

Not to mention that birds are one of the hardest animals to re-home because they live a very long time and it's so hard on them because the bond more deeply than most other "pets". I beg you to reconsider. Please reconsider ...

Have you found a home for your conures yet. I would be happy to take them and give them a forever home .
