Green Cheek conure Bing Bing is his name.
I have a wonderful green cheek parrot 4.5 years old and I love him but recently moved into a new home with my girlfriend and she is having allot of trouble accepting the times of noisiness when I am at work and she is at home.
I work allot and didn't realize the behavior of the bird would be so loud in our small home. I also work so much that I feel he's not getting the proper amount of time out of his cage and I feel bad for this. Is there anyone out there that thinks they would be a good fit for my bird. I do not want to just adopt him out to any taker. I would need to know the home was very good environment for him. If interested please pm me. Thank you.

Maybe one will contact me. I truly love the bird and if it weren't for such drastic life changes I would never consider this. I work 12 hour day's as well which changed recently I used to have every afternoon to spend with him now 6 days a week I don't.

My heart aches for you , and I am tempted, but I'm really just too full up on parrots.
I can offer that you might work through the screaming. Do to a medical condition my parrots have recently spent more time locked up instead of all day free roaming. A lot of nerve racking screaming began. A change up of the cages and more new things to chew , and treats they had to work for really helped. As did spending that critical time first thing in the morning with them , parrots a d probably most birds reaffirm their bond, abd celebrate living through the night first thing in the morning. In my observations this is the time that means the most to them, and their mental well being.
Best of luck to you, I hope you find a wonderful home, or are able to find solutions in keeping your friend.
As an aside an as a 49 year old , I do not give up my feathered or furred freinds for a relationship. I have done this in the past, and won't go there again. Some people enter relationship with human kid baggage, and everyone is expected to work through the issues.....
But I'm aslo understanding that sometimes rehoming is the best solution for all.

Hi There,

Do you still have this GCC that you want to rehome? If so, My wife and I are more than interested. I'm retired and wheelchair bound. We are at home all the time. So you can rest assured that he will get all the love and attention that he can handle. I am also a experienced bird owner so you can know that he will be properly cared for as well. Rachel and I truly want a feather baby in our home and lives and we both really want a Green Cheek! We both love the breed very much. We look forward to hearing back from you! We hope you still have him.

Thank you & Sincerely,

John & Rachel Luiz (TheLuizs)

PS: We live in Clearwater, FL. So we are within a few hours from each other.
