Apollo (8 years old Sunday conure), and Ari (7 years old jenday conure) and Cosmo 9 years old goffins cockatoo). All DNA tested females.
I need to find a good home for a jenday conure. She is about 7 years old. She has become very aggressive toward people and my other birds. She constantly chases my Sunday conure and goffins cockatoo. I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I have thought about this for the better part of a year. I love all of my birds, but it seems that my home is just not the right one for her. I will include a small cage. I won’t charge any money for her or the cage. I live on the west side of Indianapolis, Indiana. I can bring her to you if you are local. I can’t seem to get pictures uploaded right now. So, if you want pictures, PM me with you email address and/or cell phone number and I will send them to you.

Bump

Hopefully you will find someone that has no other birds ideally. I almost want to as live near you and have 2 spare cages, but have other birds and you stated she chases all your birds, so might be the same problem if I took her on. Even through Baby my U2 use to chase people and birds around, or fluff up and get larger and now she socialized and train her out of it, she great now.

Use Imgur and upload and copy direct link once finish uploading and then use picture icon on top row of this site when replying and put link in.

I would adopt her, but we live so far apart. Not what I thought I wanted but how often does a person get what they "think" they want. Is certainly the circumstance. jh

Wait---for real????!
Is this confirmed by him lol?
YAY!

Congrats to both of you!
Yep I decided to take her on, hoping in time can socialize her to people and in time she get along with my cockatoo's and cockatiels. My U2 baby was the same way when I first adopted her and now anyone could pick her up without fear of getting bit, or chased away. It did take me a few months to get her to be friendly and fully socialize her as last owner before just left her in a cage when mother past away as he was scared of her as he almost lost his finger and had to go to hospital, so he left her in a cage before selling her and she was super aggressive when I first adopted her. Now she goes everywhere with me in public and loves attention.

Baby my female U2 taught me more then any other bird I had to train over the years as she was truly a challenge as was scared of everything and anyone, several behavioral issues and super intelligence and wasn't easy to work with. She overcame her fears and when through the hardship and was well worth it as a completely different bird from when I first adopted her and now trust her to free flight and others can handle and pet her without fear of being getting attack. I remember when I first adopted her how much she hated car rides and would latch on to me, or panic and now she hangs off my shoulder and loves being out. I just had to be persistent and not give up on her, I even use to walk back and forth through doorways while talking to her to claim her down as she use to be scared of that as well day after day, till she was use to it and no longer feared it.
