2 GCC’s
Hey everyone,
I am trying to look for a new home for my two bonded Green Cheek conures ( preferably someone who already owns birds). I have had them for a year and now it has come to the point where my marriage is about to end because of them. My husband and in law’s absolutely hate them because of the noise and mess they make. They require a lot of attention and an environment where everyone in the family loves them. I have fought hard for them this past year and I love them so much, but they deserve a new home where they will be happy. If anyone is interested, please contact me. I live in the Scarsdale, NY area. Thanks!

I'm so sorry you are having to re-home, it must be very hard.
I hope you are able to find a happy forever home for them.
I had family visit who very much wanted to get parrots after hearing my stories and seeing pictures. By the end if the week they said they could never handle the noise or mess. My quakers are very loud. My 2 GCC thou have always been quiet except for alarm call's.

Good luck honey!

I'm interested in your GCC's. I am located in Maryland and currently own an African Grey and have owned a GCC before.

Just make sure that you physically/personally verify the accommodation/living conditions of any potential re-home locations/"parronts". The internet is a good place for people to construct personas which are out of alignment with reality. There are many good people who want to help, but there are also "flippers" who will say a lot to get a good deal on a bird. Join date and number of posts= good tool for you, although still not the end-all-be-all (as that can be manipulated as well)
