We have just got our 4 month old Alexandrian Parrot. Hes about the size of a budgie and hes very nervous at the minute from the journey and the new environment. We have noticed one of his wings is longer than the other. Hes also got a touch of baldness on the top of one of his legs. Hes very frightened and is huddled up on his perch. Is there anything i should do to help him get used to his environment and is the wing thing normal? Also havent had a parrot this young before so is it possible his feathers are growing in? I have proper dna docs and hatch cert from the lady i git him from. Thanks :)

aww poor little guy. Just do your best to make him feel comfortable and try giving him some sunflower seeds from your hand. You'll have a great little friend in no time.
Post a pic?

that might be a ringneck, does he have a red patch on his shoulder? Regardless that is a cute little featherhead. If he can perch let him perch on your finger and pet him and talk to him. Whistle as well.

What a cute little guy! If its just the feathers that are longer on one side there's no need to worry, the other side will catch up in time :)

Its not Alexandrian its Indian Ring Neck.May be its African Ring Neck because the difference African & Indian is very slight.
