Bundiibird - Alex - hatched 31/08/09
& Millie - BFA - hatched 29/10/14 & Willow - CAG - hatched 30/10/19
Does anyone else have an impatient Alex? This is definitely not Bundii's forte.
I was trying to attach her favourite perch to the side of her cage at my mums and she trying to get on it. However to achieve this, she had to go over the door and down it and then along the seed guard and then step up onto the perch. The only problem was that I was in the way, still trying to attach the perch. She kept grabbing the cage with her beak and then swinging the door open. She repeatedly did this until I was out of the way.
I am trying to tell her that she just has to be patient but no. This seems to be too hard for my baby.
If she wants something, it has to be done now-not when I am ready but now. NOW MUM NOW.
She also snatches food, if she thinks she has been waiting too long. I think we will have to be working on manners next.
