Alexandrine Parrot
Hi people!

My name is Natheer, and I recently purchased a 1 month old Alexandrine for hand-rearing. A daunting task I must say, as this is my very first bird. I'm loving the experience though, and I'm very much looking forward to sharing them on this forum, and learning from yours ;)

Hello and welcome!
There are several people on the forum who are quite experienced in handfeeding and would be able to give you some advice if you need some since so many things can go wrong quickly.
I wish you the best and would love to see pictures of your new baby!

Cute!

Ours loved blueberries at that age, and other soft berries. I think the sugar and being so soft will help them when so young

Thanks guys. My wife decided to name him/her (still not sure) Goesnie. There's a long story behind it, but it basically means goodness

Thanks for posting these adorable baby photos!! That sweet face and oversized beak melt my heart. I like the meaning but I'm not sure how to pronounce Goesnie?
