I'm in the process of finding a baby male Alexandrine for me and wanted to ask what I should be expecting in a baby Alex.
We have our female Alex Adria who we got as a 12 week old and she was perfect from day dot. No biting, perfect stepping up, really keen to be with us. But I'm finding that all the baby boys that I've been to see are a little less easy going. I saw 2 today that were a bit hard with their beaks, nothing major and could just be beaking but they were pinching pretty hard at some points. They would stop and go back to coo-ing and rubbing my fingers with some reminders to be gentle and some sweet talking.
Is this normal behaviour from male babies or should I have higher expectations?
I did quite like the boys today but I don't know if I need to keep looking or not.

I'm not an expert on Alex, other than the more I am around them the more I like being around them.

As a very general statement, babies are pretty much babies with the normal variations between individuals. That said, when co-raised (Parents and Breeder) and with the Breeder socializing, and working with them on step-up has much to do with their comfort and interaction level. See if you can find the same Breeder of your first girl Alex.
