McCoy - Alexandrine
Just wanted to introduce my Alexandrine McCoy to you all. He was hatched in August last year. He's parent raised, so not used to being handled. I think he's doing well though. I had a choice of 2 and he seemed the less stressed of the pair.

I'm sitting by his cage and I was giving him (McCoy) a running commentary of everything he was doing - hubby thinks I've gone mad - but he's grinding his beak now and settling down to sleep. He's eaten and tried everything in his fruit bowl so I'm very happy!

He's a bit scruffy and dusty at the moment, I'll see what he thinks of a misting tomorrow, but I think moving in is enough for one day.

I'm already falling in love!

Thank you all. I'll keep the photos coming. Also would love to see pics of your birdies.

I'd forgotten all the lovely parroty noises that I haven't heard since we lost our OWA, just the beak grinding and eating and climbing about noises are so familiar and lovely. Can't wait to hear his voice!

My mynah is Spock, so McCoy was an obvious choice, because I didn't fancy Kirk for my Alexandrine... If you recognise the link rest assured you ARE the coolest person you know, no matter what anyone else says!
