Are these any good, I've brought one off ebay and although it looks the part and I've filled it with treats such as grapes, Apple and sunflower seed - our Max has had the odd tap on the plastic disc but not been clever enough to spin it around and line the holes up to get the goodies.

I'm not convinced the holes are big enough to get his beak inside. Any thoughts or suggestions

Maybe dry treats would work better, you can always slowly move it round to show him how it works. At least if some of the goodies fall out, he can go find them? This is assuming you line the bottom with papers?

They're smart and catch on quick! :)

I've tried it with Nutri-berries and/or Millet. Pieces get stuck and she has a harm time rotating the wheel. She does pick at it but mostly likes the pellets in her food bowl. She's spoiled.

Try some small pieces of walnut, a couple in each segment. She may surprise you one day LOL
