Well it’s a young bird. You should get a DNA test if you want to know sex.

The only way to tell the gender of an Alex at this age is a DNA test. If you're asking for people to give educated guesses (which can always be entirely wrong), mine would be that something about your bird's head shape seems male to me. Female Alex's heads are marginally, infinitesimally smaller and more rounded. Also, they're marginally, infinitesimally smaller in proportion to the body.

Now that I've committed to a guess, I'm probably entirely wrong. Please let me know in three years when your bird grows (or doesn't grow) a neck ring. :)
