I recently bought an open, but almost completely full bag of Zupreen Avian Breeder fruit-blend pellet diet for Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Conures, etc. It's almost 40 lbs of food with a sell-by date of 05/2019.

After doing some research on the food, I cannot feed it to my non-breeding birds so I have to sell it. Asking $40. It retails for over $80. Can meet within San Antonio to deliver food.

Your target market is extremely small and likely not interested in that amount. In addition, if you purchased it 'opened' and it has remained opened, the freshness is falling off rapidly. I would recommend that you consider breaking the large bag down into smaller 5lb. Ziplock (or like) bags dating and ID'ing the contents and freezing them ASAP. It is possible that someone maybe interested in some part of what you have.

I have no knowledge as to the application of this product and cannot make any recommendation beyond the above. I hope that this bump gets your Thread in front of someone that would have an interest.

I got it yesterday and promptly broke it down into freezer lock bags and it's now all in my freezer. I posted it on local sales sites as well. We'll see if anyone is interested. If not, then I will find someone to whom I can donate it. Thank you for your suggestions!
