I paid $900 I am asking $700 - he is only 7 weeks old, weaned, he is sweet. I named him Pickle - but that can be changed! He is scared of hands but has been warming up a bit to me. I am moving and cannot keep him. He hasn't bonded to me yet so he is definitely young enough to find the right person still.

I am located in Central Maine. Please let me know if you're interested!!

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
why cant you keep him when you move? How long have you had him and why did you buy a bird if you were going to be moving and unable to take him? I don't mean for that to sound snarky--I guess it sounds that way, but that really isn't the tone I put into it when writing. I am just genuinely concerned/confused and hoping maybe this assumption on you needing to re-home is based on confusion about parrots, bonding etc.

Hi. Does he have a head tilt? Thst kinda a weird thing for him to do. Plus his skin looks red.

Young birds can get into trouble quickly.
I hope you can find a new home for him.
Often on this forum when people need to re home they look for the best person and re home for free. Even then it can take time.
St the very least you might have to offer for less, and bite the loss.

I took in a free burd after weeks of the person begging for a home. She is wonderful and sweet and I love her like crazy, but I didn't " need" another bird,

It can take time. Do you need any information on how to care fir your bird till a home is found?

Good luck, I hope you find the right person
