I want to get my Amazon a couple foraging toys since I'll be working out of the house starting next month. For the most part she's not much of a toy fiend. She likes chewing on wooden beads and removing all the kernels from dried corn cobs, but she rarely touches her other toys and not much of her time is spent playing with the ones she likes. I want to order some toys for her online, but it's tough to tell exactly what you're getting with the foraging toys if you're just looking at a picture. Anyone have any particular ones to recommend?

Merlin likes rawhide hanging toys w/lots of knots & bells. His favorite is foot toys, but also loves wooden beads & blocks.

My Too doesn't play with any of his chewing toys, but he LOVES foraging toys.

I have a large foraging wheel, a Barrel of Fun, Foraging boxes and a snack rack puzzle.

I rotate them every week or so, but he loves figuring them out and finding treats at the same time.

I hide almonds, toasted Soy Beans, Sunflowers, Dried Peas and Hazel nuts. I also hide small shredding toys in the barrel and boxes.

Halloween LOVES preening toys and she also enjoys foraging toys. She's still on the basic toys like boxes and homemade coffee filter (natural unbleached ones) foragaing toys I got the idea a while ago from this site. Oh I also got one that you can fill up in the back and the bird has to move this sliding cover to get the treat. So those are her favorites. She will be advanceing in her forageing toys soon though.
