Poor Poor Gigi.

His feathers look wretched.

He has such bad stress marks in his feathers, it hurts me to even look at him. I just feel that I'm doing such a bad job with him because he didn't have stress marks in his feathers when he got here, and now it's just..ugh...pathetic looking.

All I can think of is that a few weeks ago I put in a rope-braided wreath swing perch kind of thing (if you can understand that..haha). I thought he would enjoy it because he really likes to preen and there's plenty of rope on there to preen, but he hasn't touched it.

I'll probably take it out whenever I get home and see what happens from there. Any other suggestions?

The stress marks are probably only appearing now, because he is so relaxed and happy. Sounds strange I know but when they are so unhappy they don't seem to appear until they start to relax. I'm sure you'll find that as time goes by they will go.

You are doing an amazing job with him, so try not to feel bad, Who took him in - YOU, who is getting his beak sorted - YOU as I say you are doing a wonderful job with him. :D
