Beautiful Day

I skipped church (I know that was wrong. lol) Mr. Precious & I had a leisurely breakfast of Lucky Charms. I don't give him the marshmallows, but he loves to dunk the regular pieces in the milk on the spoon & then we eat together. He even licks up the milk from the spoon.

Then it was shower time. He got overly excited & was hanging by one foot on the shower rod trying desperately to get his one wing in the water. I told him he was going to fall & then I'd laugh at him & he did. (Not falling for real, just slip & then fly to bottom of tub) He got wetter than he planned so it was time for a makeover with the hair dryer. He talks up a storm whenever the hair dryer is on & he kept whistling at me!

Turned on some Nirvana & we danced punk style while cleaning the kitchen. He likes to bob his head & spin in a circle when I jump up & down & spin. He'd be awesome in a mosh pit.

All in all I pretty much got to spend the entire day with him & it was awesome. He always makes my day. He's watching me type this. lol. I love you Mr. Precious.

They really add to our day. Glad you guys had a good one. Everytime I think of a amazon named 'Precious', I think of the country song "A boy named Sue" lol

Yeah. Unfortunately he came with the name & since he was already 12 & saying Hello Precious I didn't feel right changing it. I would love to call him Steve. Is it okay to change their names? He has a large vocabulary so I don't think it would be difficult for him. Any advice? Yeah or Nay on a name change?

I think Precious it is. After 12 years, its his name.

I rarely respond to post like this and try and stick to the ones about people needing help,however i love to read about people enjoying their amazons like i enjoy mine.Congrats on being such a good birdie mom.PS next time take him to church with you.
