meet Puffer, our DYH amazon. He is 8 yrs old and i adopted him or her from an elderly lady a few days ago. He is doing well, getting to know the rest of my flock and his new home.

WOW!!! Its ...... nice DYH Amazon... I love it too much... just hope that i can Own a DHY like urs. But its very expensive over Here....

That was a CHEAP Price. but If conver to SGD may be not the same price for sure... Well, i from Singapore and here cost a DYH Amazon ard $4800-$6800 and its depent on the bird.. BF Zon $1300-$1600, YN Zon $2800-$4800. So singapore selling birds are ...... HIGH Price...
By the way I got other Thread in Q&A abt MY BF ZON so can someone help me out. pls go and check out my POST. THANKS alot...

I wonder why the price is so high in Singapore compered to Sweden. Do you know the reason?

The price difference might be supply and demand. Perhaps, in SING they don't have many DYHA OR they know they can charge that and still have buyers? I also have seen them for 900-1500 USD here.

Yes he talks a lot, be doesn't sing but he will.. i guess the original owner didn't sing or turn radio on much but he has a good vocab... talks up a storm! Call his name puffer!!!! he replies WHAT?! he also mimics human laughs... i think DYH amazon are amazing!!! but i Love all my parrots!! my grey is my baby!! she the most affectionate! Puffer just gives hand shake right now or high five but not STEP UP!!!! It just takes time!!!!

i just adopted him for less than a week and he lets me shake his hand, and lets me touch his beak and feathers while he is in the cage.. i haven't tried to pet him outside and i don't think he knows how to step up or maybe not ready to step up on me yet since its only been a few days. But i'm happy with the progress... no aggression while we put hand in cage to clean or place food / water. It seems he is used to being around human but probably just wasn't handled much ... i will take it slow...
