My OWA's cage is outdoor on our patio and has to remain there due to space issues. However, I just started bringing him indoors to sleep at night because I live in Florida and we have a big raccoon problem in my neighborhood. His cage is very sturdy and secure (I think) but I don't want him hurt or traumatized by a predator trying to get to him through the bars at night. He's been sleeping on his T perch but I'm wondering if that's a good thing. He has a relatively roomy travel cage but he really doesn't like it and appears to be stressed out when he's in it - he hangs in a corner and doesn't relax on the perch. I don't want him to be unhappy every night but I do want him to be safe. Thoughts and ideas are welcome.
