So, i know some of u are prolly getting sick of my progress updates every couple weeks but each of them is such a huge leap forward for my babies they make my heart jump!

Well yesterday night me and my husband were working on making cakepops (lollipops made of cake) and we were in the process of dipping them in almond bark and sprinkles and Ianto (the male who is much more scared and antisocial still) is slowly climbing down his cage to watch us. I was so busy i didnt even notice him at first. My husband had his back to him so he didnt either. Thier cage is almost up against my dinner table where we were working if they climb down it they can take a chair perch from their cage across to the table if the wish. Well Ianto never uses this perch unless he is on one of his secret steal treats before mommy catches me missions,(See previous progress post http://www.parrotforums.com/amazons/14276-amazons-smarter-then-average-everybody.html )and especially if we are anywhere near. Well today he unbenounced to us made his way down his cage and onto the perch so he was sitting over the table right at my husbands elbow level. ( This is the closest he's been to use without nipping EVER) Well he watches for a good 5 minutes, while we work and say "Hello Ianto," and such and finally he turns his head to the side doing his one eyed stares that birdies are so good at when they are interested then looks at me and says, "What's up, Whatcha doin'?" I was so suprised I stopped in mid dip and answered him in giggles. He watched for another 5 minutes or so then said, "mmmMmmm" before climbing back up to his cage to chitter with his mate. I laughed so hard i almost dropped a tray of cakepops. lol Just thought i would share this little success with you guys. We are getting there!:D:green:
