I wanted to ask you if figs are allowed for all our fids...
I used to feed them to the canaries when we had them and they loved them..

Figs are really popular in our country during summer so I was wondering if I could give some to my birdies...:D

pheob, to my knowledge figs are just fine for our fiddies. And, I'll bet mine would enjoy them immensely.

Figs are not on the no-no list ... but, let's see what others have to say.

:D

Eh, I have occasionally given mine a tiny piece of fig newton but they didn't like it. They love raisins and Madison absolutely adores craisins... they never liked prunes or anything else like that though. I assume those things are all in the same family or something.

Mine don't really care for figs, but they're okay to give. Sisqo loves dates too.

a yellow nape parvipes amazon
Welch's has pre packaged fruits that are dehydrated and are full of mixed berries, raisins and figs, good way to feed fruits without going broke on fresh all the time.

Our Amazon also loves the new fruit flavored Cheerios cereal they came out with. This is natural flavoring and healthy for the bird.
