Well, I got a couple of pics of him today when he kept wanting to sit on the top of the couch. I wish he would finish losing his icky, malnourished feathers and those awful wing feathers from the butcher job his previous owner did on his wings. Every day though I find new feathers unfurling on parts of him.

What a good looking bird he is. I see southwest deorations. That is what I have here too. I think we have the same throw on the sofa.

I have a rather eclectic mix of southwestern and antiques with a horsey motif mixed with antique bottles and stoneware in this room. My living room has southwestern mixed with antiques and African.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Once he has all his new feathers I will definitely post more pics of him. I need a close up as amazons have such pretty eyes.

I know! Instead she's courting me I keep telling her how sweet he is and what a nice bf he would be for her. Rowdy turned him down, too, the poor guy!

Pete made up his own sentence yesterday evening. Mama Roxy is very proud Usually when I'm in another room he says, "Come here! Hurry! Be right back!" Yesterday he combined them to, "Come hurry back!" It's actually a sensible combination though. I don't know if Pete knew it was a sensible combination, but I'm proud of him anyway.
