I'm very happy to share with you all a picture. It shows the progress we have been making on healing Pepsi's feet. From being on such a poor diet for many years (29) her feet were very sore and the skin was thickened. Here is a picture you can see the old skin is flaking off and look at how great it is starting to look!!!!

Thank you everyone for your continued support for Pepsi and myself down this long road to a healthier & happier bird!!!

Her feet were a real mess. Her nails were so long she couldn't climb and one of them was cracked off right down to the toe. I can only imagine how much that hurt her.

That's very good news! I am glad her feet are feeling and looking better. You must be so happy!

"Elvie" is my awesome companion Umbrella Cockatoo I've had for 14 years.
Coming in late on the story about Pepsi however, it's great he is improving so well. :)

I'm just so excited for her and she is going through a molt so I sure hope her new feathers look better then the ones now, such a state the poor thing. She is so beautiful and sweet I'll never understand how people can do things like this to animals.
