I have just figured out that i got the months mixed up im not getting my blue fronted amazon in october im getting her in september so not long to wait now and will post pics for you all
Ya, can't wait to see it.. Sept isn't to far off and you want to give the breeder plenty of time to hand raise him or her properly. lol Sort of irratated by this baby Yellow Crown Amazon owner, getting a bird a little early and having difficulties. It breaks my heart.. Breeders know better than to sale a baby Amazons to early.
1 nanday conure Black Jack, 1 Brotogeris parakeet Whiff, 1 ring neck dove Eliza, and 6 society finches (3 are tame). RIP my parent pairs of societies and my little gouldian finches
The breeder im ghetting my little girl off won't let his birds go early he keeps them until fully reared unless you know how to rear yourself in which case i don't so she will be with him until september and yes im so excited and pictures will be up when i get her home wenz promise

Oh man....waiting that long would KILL me
Of course I was taught how to hand feed as was my wife so we got all ours pretty young. The Hahn's (our first together) was the only one we got weaned.
I don't think we'll get another but if we do I want to raise it, get the bonding started early.
