Casper is really into female Blues singers at the moment - it really gets him vocalising. Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Ma Rainey, he loves them all.

What gets your birds tapping their feet?

Well while we are at work they listen to Hair Nation. My GCC Loki likes Jackyl but his favorite is the A Team theme song which my Quaker Otis hates. He bounces and chirps to that. Not real sure what our YNA likes yet. He doesn't seem to mind Hair Nation though.

That would be funny! My Quaker actually likes the Sanford and Son theme song. We were debating on naming him Otis when we got him and then we played some Otis Redding and he really like it so we decided that would be his name. Guess we are going to have to go through our music for the new guys name. I wanted to name him Waylon after Waylon Jennings but I don't think I'll get my way.:)

Just make sure the new guys name doesn't include the surname bieber as in Justin bieber lol other wise the whole house hold would need ear muffs :p

Definitely none of that music in our house! Though we do go from one extreme to the next from good ol country music to hardcore heavy metal. So it is hard to tell what our birds will end up singing!:)

I just found out that my Yoshi likes Metal. :eek:

I was flipping the music channels so I could do house chores , lol , and stopped on the metal channel hearing Ozzy and saw my Yoshi go full out head banging, wings spread , crown up :D:D:D:

Rosie likes Bob Marley's Jammin ,lolol.

Stella and Baby haven't shown a preference yet.
But I have seen them bop around to Elvis Costello though :p

George, my YCA, liked opera and would try to sing along. He also seemed to enjoy particularly bad singers-- if it was off-key, it got George's attention. Now, Ralph the Quaker parrot has different taste. He likes female jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee, and is also a fan of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. He likes 60's pop/rock, the Beatles and the Beach Boys especially, and some classical music-- he'll actually sit quietly and listen to a Beethoven symphony-- at least for a few minutes. :)

Playing Lady Jazz singers to Casper this morning but he's too busy preening to notice. I think he loves the raucousness of the Blues Divas. :)

Kazi loves Dolly Parton and Tori Amos. He doesn't care for faster, louder stuff, which actually surprises me. But if I have Tori or Dolly going he sings along by going 'Ha-haaaaaa' over and over again at different pitches. It cracks me up. I think I have a video of it somewhere...

Codie loves... Meet Me Halfway.. Black Eyed Peas! When I put this on, she runs up and down her perch, bobbing up and down... Any other Music, she just sits there :)
