Not sure if this is a good sign or not.

Lola- Blue Front Amazon- 2
I got Lola almost 3 months ago. In those 3 months, she's gone a long way. She will step up almost every time I ask, if she doesnt its because she's not done playing with whatever it is she's playing with (most of the time its stuff that she's not supposed to be playing with). She flies over to me and sits on me and talks to me. But, when she's sitting on me she likes to chew on my clothes, and sometime she catches my skin which hurt a lot. Is it a good thing that she chews on my clothes? Is it like preening me? Or is it something that needs to be stopped, and if it needs to be stopped how do i stop it?

The beak is one of the most importan tool a perrot has and they use it all the time exploring everythin. I dont think you cant him from chewing on your cloth.

Ive noticed Max doing this, but its not just my clothes; the couch, carpet, anything in reach that he isnt too scared of to approach he nibbles at.
I could be dead wrong, but I think parrots are like babies in this sense (and sharks I suppose) they explore with their mouths. I think, and again I may be wrong, since they have to use their feet to grip onto whatever theyre on, their best choice for exploring items is using their beaks (like sharks bite things to see what it is, since they cant use their fins.)
It can hurt when they get your skin too, but I dont believe theyre trying to hurt us, just trying to figure out their surroundings.

Thats my two cents at least. Im sure a more experienced member can tell you more.

Yep she's just preening and exploring. You will know a bite when you get one.
They do have strong sharp beaks, I tell Bosley gently and distract him if he gets too over eager. I also got him a felt ball that he loves and he can chew, nip and explore on that. So when he gets into that mode I give him that ball.
I have had him 5 months now and he has learned to be gentle when preening me and biting my clothes.
