Hi Everyone,

I live in Victoira (40 mins out from Melbourne)?

Thanks in advance.

Hello! :)

I purchased my cage off ebay and could not be happier, it is a very large cage, and was cheap, but the quality is still great! The cage that size would of cost probably 1000 dollars in pet shops! haha

My cage was from melbourne i believe! and shipping was only 70 dollars!

haha :)

Just having a look through ebay history now, the seller was gt_mall, from nsw actually, and for some reason ebay links never work on here ;) but if you type in ' XL Parrot Escape Jumbo Corner Bird Aviary Cage 185cm ' it will show the cage, its 299 dollars, it says it can be for amazons and macaws :)

I see no issue with eBay cages as long as they are not homemade junk:p, I've never personAlly bought one from eBay, but they are brand name cages so why not!

A lot of the sellers are actually companies, so you aren't buying the cage from a individual and the cages are brand new :)

O good to know I usually don't have to worry about a cage I usually have one in my stock( I hoard up all cages so if I need one, i got all sorts of cages should take a pic sometime of my cages and playgyms I have stored lol!)

Glad to know that in future to recommend people to there to buy cages if they need a cheaper alternative.

I bought two cages, one on ebay, and the other from PETCO online. They are both good quality, and I paid a reasonable price.

If you get a cage off of ebay i would just make sure they have some kind of return policy. I once bought a t-stand with dishes, the seller had a good rating but no return policy, and it came without the screws for the dishes and no perch. My Dad fixed it up for me but if something like that happened with cage it could be bad. Prevue Pet Products does stand by their cages and will replace something if you call them so ordering prevue could be safe if they sell them in Victoria.
