10 year old DYH

Are there any problems adopting a 10 yr. old bird? Current owner says it will step up onto a stick but needs work. What is your opinion?

Re: 10 year old DYH

They take more work. I just adopted a 16 yr old Macaw that was not hand tame. after 2 weeks he is starting to come around and we can atleast touch him. Not knowing a detailed backgroung makes it vary tough so its best to just start at the begining of traning and work on trust.
