Sorry for the picture being too dark but that's what we do every night before my new baby goes to sleep.
It's just so sweet....:greenyellow:

Thank you all,
I thought it will take me years to get her to trust me that much.
I just have her for about 3 weeks ONLY!!!!!
I think it's because she is a Yellow Shouldered Amazon.
I was really pleased to see her stepping up to my daughter almost as willingly as she steps-up to me. It's just a very friendly bird.
So far she bit my neighbor only, but really bad with blood pooring and everything.........Oh boy......

OUCH!! What did your neighbor say?? Did he poke his fingers in her cage or was she out and she did a Kamekaze attack?

I think you are making amazingly quick progress with her!! For her to bow her head like this, she surely trusts you. :)

It was baaaaaaaaad.....
Marley got super excited when my neighbor came to visit, started screaming, talking and wisteling. She stepped-up for him also. I think my neighbor thought that this bird is totally in love with him, so he put his mouth close to her beak (oh no!!!!!!). Maybe because Marley was above his face (on top of her cage) or for ever other reason unknown to me, she bit his lip almost opening it through.......:11:
She was very excited at this moment...fanned tail, lots of noise, but wings were not raised.... I still don't know what that was all about.......Feel so bad about my neighbor being bitten....even he admitted it was his fault to get so close to her.........

YOWSER!!!! Yup, a fan tailed Amazon, with eyes pinning is not a good kissing partner. :54:

Sorry about your neighbor's lip, I'm sure he won't be making the same mistake twice. And I know how lips can bleed. :11:

Very sweet picture. Sorry about your neighbor getting bitten. Amazons can bite when they're excited.
