Hi my name is Denise, I have an african grey who is 7 months old and I am adopting either a Blue front or a caique from a friend who is a breeder. They are both 5 months old. I wanted the caique because he is cute and playfull, but the Blue front is so nice to. My friend tells me if she puts the caique in the cage with my african grey the beek each other, they dont get along. But if not in the cage they are Ok. On the other hand the Blue Front get along very well in the cage and plays together . I will be putting them in seperate cages so that won't be a problem. I just was worried what pair would be better so they will be buddies all the time. Any ideas?

I think since the blue front and the grey are similar in size it would be a better match.. Plus, blue fronts are great talkers whereas the caiques rarely speak.
