Hi am having problems with my 3 year old Orange winged, i have had him about 7 months. where having problems he is a very strange or maybe just nervous, goes to bite me but has never bitten yet ( Thank God ) he will let me stroke his beak through the cage its self, i can also stroke his feet as well he will also take food out off my hand either when he is in cage or not.
He will very gladly come out off his cage he has no problem with this he will sit for hours on the top off his cage, but as soon as i put my hand near him he will tell me to back off ( Very Vocal ). I no deep down he will be a lovely amazon with the right training, I just don't no where to start ??.
Can anyone help me
