Re: Training BFA to not go on your shoulder
I can't help you with the training because I allow all my birds to perch on my shoulder (it comforts them to be close to the face and so it becomes a bonding issue with them).
None of my zons sticks their tongue out and wiggle it when they are getting sleepy... they grind their beaks. |

She grinds her beak also. She'll stick out her tongue, wiggle it, then grind her beak. She does that for like 10 minutes then goes to sleep.

Re: Training BFA to not go on your shoulder
Since she is doing it you should train her to do it on command. That would be funny. Fargo the macaw does this. His owner Tabbath has a video posted on the forum. Very funny.
Here it is. I think she has another where he does this on command. Poking tongue out!
