Mango is acting like a baby

So Mango has reverted to making baby feeding noises all the time and is begging for food. He has plenty of food and this urge seems to stop if I give him a treat. It seems like he wants to be a baby. He eats his regular food with no problem.

Thoughts?

Mishka does exactly the same thing, I know he does it for attention, hope yours is for the same reason.

At least you have peace of mind that he is still eating normally.

Ant is right, some birds continue to make that begging noise in an attempt to look for affection/attention.

My Hunter (she is 14) does it when she sees I'm eating a piece of cheese, because cheese is her absolute favorite treat in the whole wild world. :D

Mango may have resumed the baby begging behavior because of the Quaker that recently joined the flock. He may be trying to divert your attention away from the Quaker and back to him. :)
