My baby girl Mabel is growing before my eyes! I thought I would take a couple more shots of her so I don't forget anything! She weighed 375gr on Tuesday morning, now this morning she is at 439gr. She is a silly baby, she makes the cutest baby noises when I wrap her in her blankie and we snuggle! I just love this "big" baby!

showing me her colors!

Cute pictures. I just checked the website where Lynne got her bird and the clutch mate is already full feathered. It's amazing what a few days' difference make.

I just wanted to add a couple more pictures of Mabel. She is growing like a weed! I got her on the 29th of October and she weighed 375 grams. This morning she weighs 471 grams! (wendy your niece is a chubby little girl!) LOL
Every night this week I have been putting down a big blanket and laying on the floor, she literally waddles over to me and then snuggles under my chin. She never moves from there, still too young to go out exploring! It's the funniest thing to watch Nigel my rb2 keep flying over to check her out, he can be a bit of a brat so I have to watch it that he doesn't give her chubby little bottom a pinch! Dorothy, my cag is a little more standoffish! She normally loves little babies but I think she can't figure out the baby noises coming from a "baby" that weighs more than her! LOL

look at her little tail!

Her close up!

Oh gosh, Lynn, I could just EAT her up!!!! She is developing SO nicely!!!! What a difference in appearance again. Unbelievable how she's growing and thriving right in front of our eyes. :D

I cracked up laughing at your remarks on how Dorothy is not quite sure what to do with this big baby. HAHAHAHHA! She'll get used to, NO doubt whatsoever. :)

It's funny Wendy, I think when I looked at the photos again that she looked a so little! But in person she is a big baby! Kind of reminds me of baby Huey! LOL She still does the growling thing when I lift her out of her "bed" but then as soon as she is out she snuggles right under my chin. It's strange I have never had any other babies do that growling thing. I am hoping Dorothy gets over this, I have perched her on top of Mabels bed/box and she is happy to look at her but when I have them both on the floor she kind of avoids her at all costs! I don't think she likes her mommy snuggling up with anyone else! I hope they grow to like each other, Dorothy definitely doesn't like Nigel, and to be honest I can understand he can be somewhat bratty to her! He keeps flying over trying to pinch Mabels butt then puffing up is facial feathers to get me to pet him. He is a trip!

NAAAWWWW, that is THE cutest thing ever about Nigel fluffing up to get some lovin' in while you are with Mabel. :)

The growling is completely normal. Both my Amazons ALWAYS have something to grumble about when I take them out. And then they do it again when it's time to go back inside the cage. Wait until Mabel starts making more sounds, you will crack up laughing, especially when she starts getting ticked off with some toys that may swing back at her as she throws them around. :D
