Sometimes when I go to Home Depot, I see these rolls of wire as on the link:

Search Results for wire at The Home Depot

I was wondering if anyone can refer me to a simple plan for making some kind of Parrot habitat with this. I mean something simple that can be done in minutes, but safe for the bird. I was thinking a cylindrical design, since this stuff folds. But how to join the ends? How to make a cover, etc? Also, which wire would be safe?:green:

Thanks.

I used this as a frame Home Rig House Rabbit Cage, 30 in.x36 in. - 2179677 | Tractor Supply Company

and then wire 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch around it to make the holes smaller as well as make the cage stronger as a whole. When it was finished it was super sturdy we attached to a fence corner. You can buy j clips and the j clip clamp to attach wire and experiment with.

Learn how to tig weld and then you can create your own stainless steel cage.
Welded Stainless Wire mesh data, prices, helpful information
I don't know if that is the best price but it is stainless steel and you can't get any better than that.

Also what kind of bird do you have? If you have a larger bird I have read of people using the dog in closers for cages.
