Really pleased!

After hours and weeks today Alfie got onto my shoulder with a little encouragement he sat for about an hour and gave me a little kiss on my chin

So pleased with his progress!

Re: Really pleased!

What a sweetie! Time and patience is all you need Glad Alfie is warming up to you.

A little off topic, your Alfie is the only other parrot I've ever heard of with that name. My parents have a goffin too who's name is Alfie. It's not a very common name, especially for parrots! Good thing your Alfie doesn't have the 'personality' of their Alfie

He has always been in his cage for
Many years next to a different parrot and when his owner passed away I gave him a new home.

From scratching > little kisses > sitting on my shoulder has taken a few weeks but I found a video where Alfie was smaller and his owner said hello filming, he is either Alfie or Monty but he doesn't respond to either lol
