So Wendy and I have been talking and she knows how much I LOVE the Zon's. I miss my Nape something fierce when I see all the pic's and read all the funny stories on here.
I have been concerned about the dust and that is why I have held off but they do love their baths as Wendy pointed out to me. :p I know a grey or too is out of the question but I believe I could keep the zon dust down to a minimum especially if I was bathing everyday or every other day as I do with the eclectus.

I adore ekkies no doubt but I have missed the crazy, playing enthusiasm that the zon's are known for. I also miss the singing, my Nape knew so many funny songs, sung at top volume of course!

I am really only considering one of the hot three because I adore them, I would prefer a dna female but a male is not out of the question. So what do you all think....should I start the look out for one? Spring is in the air and the time is right to look if I am going to. Bring the cyber-bulling on!:D

Of the hot three, which are your favorite and why?

I'm wondering why you want to put yourself through the agony of CHOOSING? Life is difficult enough, don't add unnecessary burdens to your load by forcing yourself to have to choose between such worthy candidates. Take them all, I say....:54: And have one less thing to worry about ;)

Yup, you're right, my entire comment is all about making life easier for YOU! That's my story and I'm sticking to it :D

Well you picked the WRONG person to ask about Amazons, HAHAHAHA. I think you'll do GREAT with one, I really, truly do. :D

My favorites are Magnas, YN, Blue Front, in that order. ;)

Magnas/DYH: LOVE their personality, their looks, their clownish behavior

Yellow Napes: LOVE their personality, their spunk, LOVE LOVE LOVE how laid back my Hunter is (yes, I know I'm very fortunate)

Never owned a Blue Front, but LOVE how they look, and definitely love their spunk and zest for life.

O boy! Another victim to be 'indoctrinated' into the zon crowd:D I think you should keep your eyes open for who's available. Theres a lot more zons out there than the "hot 3" and some of the other species are real sweethearts. My personal favorites?

#1- DYHs. A little less temper, but still that 100% all zon personality.
#2- GCAs (AKA mexican redheads). Not one of the hot 3, but they are absolute sweethearts. Just such calm, passive birds:)
#3- BFAs. I never knew I liked BFAs until I got one, but they their independence and silliness (and as Wendy put it, "spunk" lol) are pretty nice attributes in a bird. They aren't known to be a cuddly species though:( I *SO* wish Kiwi was accepting of cuddles, he looks super soft and deserves to be mauled with kisses and love:D
