Below are pics of what I assume are new feather . I was thinking this was from something being wrong and Sammy was picking his chest. I notice the black under his skin and was wondering if maybe those needed to be removed in order for him not to pick any more. That maybe was the reason to start with .but tonight I took pics to show here for opinions. These pics are clear so when I looked at them I could see feathers coming out. Is this what molting is ? The other day it looked like chest was getting covered in down. This is the first I have noticed the feathers. Is this how they come in ? Do I need a vet visit?

I checked these . They load for me, except for the first one. I noticed a space on it which is stopping it from opening and giving the error. Were you able to see the others ?

First link says "Page not found" and the other links just don't load anything.

Still nothing. Can you just link us to the page the images are located on? Or try uploading the images to the thread? (or to an image hosting website?)

MonicaMC,

I tried to reload from the laptop. the first ones were done on my phone, I could see those not sure why you all cant. I loaded them to my photo album here on the forum. Is there a way you can see them there if they are not visible this time?
thanks

I can see pin feathers on the pictures, so he could be starting to molt, if that was what you were asking. I didn't quite get what you were asking though.
