Since we're having unbelievably gorgeous weather at the moment (85 degrees!!!), I decided to slap the harness onto Sam again.

This was only his second time getting it on, and no, he's not too overly thrilled with it, but I didn't lose any digits. :54:

So, here are some photos of my hottie in his harness. :D

He is a hottie and he knows it! All I can hear playing in my head is "I'm too sexy for my harness, too sexy for my harness, too sexy".

Hello SAM... you are simple gorgeous in your green harness! I bet that wonderful sunshine felt good on your beautiful head! Be good for your mommy so she can take you outside more often, maybe you can "help" her with the roses this year.

Does Sam get nervous outside....sometimes Parker gets very nervous and sometimes he gets super excited... although he is in an outdoor cage because if I tried the harness thing I would certainly loose a finger or five...we don't have may birds of prey so I don't think that is the issue... Sammy boy you sir are quite the looker...

Sam's plumage looks especially beautiful in the sunlight, Wendy! Sweet pics! Did he get any outdoor flying in?

No, he doesn't get nervous at all. He LOVES the outdoors. I took him for a walk around the block, so he had lots to see and look at, plus it distracted him from wearing the evil harness. :32:

Thank you, Stephen. :) Well, he unintentionally got some flying in. When we got back from our little stroll, the wind blew the gate shut, which made him take off. Luckily he had a soft and gentle landing.

He is beautiful and thanks for the pictures. How long did it take to get his harness on? I'm hoping one day in the future to get Buddy in one but we are no where close to that day.

I bought the harness on Monday, put it on for the first time on Tuesday, and then again today. Sam is not too fond of it, but he allows me to touch him anywhere without making too much of a big fuss (or without removing digits). Getting the harness on takes less than 30 seconds....getting off took longer because he threw himself on his back.

Oh how beautiful! Thank you for Sharing the pictures. I took dusty outside today as well to enjoy the weather. He absolutely hates his harness however :(
I have to have a hold on him before I take his harness out or he wont go near me... Yet he LOVES being outside

Psst...don't tell anyone, but I have to take Sam into the laundry room and dim the lights or he'll fly circles around me as soon as he spots the harness. :30:

And yes, I did watch the video.

The only time Dusty will try to bite me is when i have his harness in hand BEFORE i take him out of his cage. I keep in in our "Critter Room" (the room our reptiles reside in AWAY from our cats). I usually have to get the harness, stuff it in my pocket come out and get Dusty or get Dusty and then get the harness but that results in him bugging out once he realizes that I'm getting the harness.

Woo hoo! Well done! :D That is awesome

Sam is definitely a hottie! :p

Have you tried it on Hunter? :)

Pfft....Hunter is a piece of cake. She'd let me stick her in my pocket and she wouldn't complain. :D But I need to get one in a size larger for Hunter, as Sam's harness is a wee bit snug on her. :54:
