What a beautiful bird! Is he/she a juvenile or an adult? That does make a difference in trying to classify. You may find some of the following information helpful as it explains in better detail the classification criteria for different subspecies:

Yellow Naped Amazon..
Amazon Parrots, Part 1

BEAUTIFUL girl you got there!!!

To my 'untrained' eyes she looks like Auropalliata parvipes

I believe her to be the parvipes due to beak color and I see some red feathers in the bend of her wing. :)

Of course it's also entirely possible that she is a hybrid.

IMO too young to guess , but i think A. o. auropalliata. Really need bird in hand to be sure.

In cites certificate they wrote in the scientific name ( amazona auropalliata ) but I think this is not the classification

Why would you think she's not??? IMO she has large feet, at 11 months does she weigh over 500 grams,IMO beak color means little w/YNA ( i have about 1dozen of several subspecies YNA and beaks look alike). I think the CITIES Cert is right. But , like I said, really need the" bird in hand".

BTW,, like Ms jerseywendy said, hybrids are very common. I would think hybrids are as common ,if not more so, than "pure subspecies". As far as A. o. Auropalliata on the Certificate , that's a common generic name , they are by far the most common subspecies.

if i'm not being too forward,,,, how many USD was that bird in Qatar?? 10,000 /15,000 i have tried several times to get CITIES permits to send zons to Qatar. You should just send your jet, LOL.

Hey SAUD, appears to be young (1 yr old) DYH , or could be older pan amazon. Most likely young Double Yellow Head. How much does it weigh? How old? is that black mark on upper mandible? (common in panamas)

Looking at the extensive red already showing on the wing coverts, it's entirely possible that you have a Magna there. Only time will tell, as they don't fully color up until they are 5+ years old.

Here are some photos of my Magna when he was just under 1 year. :)
