Last shower was bad, so I shower him in living room and opened the space throughout the living area instead of his avairy, he loved it, and I think I'll keep him there of course supervised at all times while cage is open, I need a upgrade but since am home I will leave it open while me and hubby are home ;):green2:

Aww, so glad you figured out a way for him to enjoy his bath!

Jasper is gorgeous! What did you use to shower him with in the livingroom? I'm working on this with Buddy, he hasn't shown any liking to water yet. I've dropped droplets of water on his head (prior to dropping I wet my fingers and showed him so he could see), a small misting bottle, and I now have a shower perch. He's been finicky about coming out so I haven't been able to show him the perch in the bathroom. Add a layer of complexity, we have a large vanity mirror (4 x 6) and he KNOWS there is a sexy Mexican Readhead waiting for him to visit the bathroom making eyes at him, puffing up, cheeks out, putting it all out there so he can't stop staring at the mirror. It's hilarious, lol. Next I'm going to try getting him in The shower with me, but not directly in the water, start with him far from the water and move him closer based on how he reacts.

Sprinkler with the hose, our living room is part of an old pourch so water drained through the door, easy clean-up. As far as him liking it he was setting on top of his cage after he ate, then I lightly sprayed him, I suppose u could use a mister, but you would have a mess to acutally fully soak "shower" him though. Most Zons require a daily shower, as with any exotic bird should always be showered, this ensures their habitat and good health, along with good preening. :white1:
