She had tons of fun! Me not so much!

Apparently anything that comes out of the printer is to be grabbed, chewed and thrown on the floor!

Pens & pencils (especially the pretty highlighters) are ALL hers and I am NOT allowed to use any of them!

If I am typing on the computer she will "help" me weather I like it or not! (had to send the boss a follow up email explaining and apologizing for the crazy one she sent before I got her off the keyboard!) Good thing he likes her! :D

If the phone rings it's for her and she will jump on my shoulder and start talking to it! After I hang the phone up she pulls my baseball cap off my head and tries to toss it to the floor (not sure if she doesn't like me wearing it or if she wants it for her own)

Absolutely nothing was safe from her! Then we had a 15 minute stand off before I could get her to step up so I could take her back to her cage! She even did the psycho zon thing and I thought I just might lose a finger!

I tried giving her an area with her things, and a few of mine that were safe for her to play with, but ALL of my things were way more fun! And stay in one area? Why would she do that when there was so much to seek and destroy?

I was hoping she could hang out with me in the office on slow days, but I might have to rethink that idea after this morning!

Hehe, sounds like a normal active Zon to me, sorry.
I actually had a better luck with my Zon in the office. She was a GOOD girl. It was very quiet for her in the office, so she was asking every 10 min or so "Night, night, night?"

I'm just busting up imagining this scene (and boy can i image it!):D Parrots just LOVE our office supplies! That's why Kiwi isn't allowed on our desk- too much trouble for him to get into and too much protest to get him to step up!

Just a thought, but if you have one of those plain plastic pens (no outer metal parts) you can take it apart (all the ink, sling, the point the ink comes out of... anything potentially dangerous she could swallow or has ink), wash it thoroughly and that can be Zilla's pen! Kiwi has a couple pens and boy does he look smug when he gets to play with what the humans do!

Zilla isn't "allowed" on my desk, she was supposed to stay on top of the filing cabinet beside the desk, where her things were. But I was having way too much fun and she just couldn't stand not being in the middle of it with me.

Maybe we will just have to work on being a GOOD office bird! I would really like for her to be able to spend some time in there with me since I am in there 40 hours a week or more.

It just seems like I am being a big meanie when my office is only 4 feet from her cage and she can hear me but not see me. She talks to me all the time in her "come get me mommy" voice and I feel so guilty! Now that she is feeling better (and adjusting to being here) she wants to be with me more.

Oh man, that sounds just like a bird. Obviously if you have something, it must be better than what she has. My eclectus is a laptop eater.. god, he's so determined. We finally bought him his own (toy laptop). But our laptops are better >.< His laptop is only good for playing with when my daughter or I are not using ours.

What a cute little brat Zilla sounds like. I hope she learns to play with her own office supplies so she can continue to be your secretary.

That's too funny, Amanda! Sounds like Zilla is feeling better and wants your job! Give her some office space of her own and make her fill out an application before she takes over completely. I'm glad she's feeling well enough to be bratty.

That was too funny! Now if you could just get her to work on her filing skills....

Well she might have a future as a paper shredder.

LOL!!!! I work at home and Buddy HAS to see me. I can't have conference calls on speaker, he starts talking as soon as he hears voices. My team knows it's him and they will talk back to him but new people, I have to explain. One call he kept screaming Hello and my customer hung up thinking I couldn't hear he. I have a pic I send if they want to see him. If he's not trying to talk, I have to explain the rhythmic snoring coming from under my desk, Canelo working on his 20 hour nap lol.
